He was not only a renowned physician and philanthropist but also a great visionary. Dr. Radhanath Seva Kendra (‘Seva Kendra’ at the time of its birth) was the fruit of his continuous effort to bring positive changes in society.

He took the charge of this voluntary organisation following the death of his father Dr. Radhanath Mazumder. Under his leadership, the underprivileged section of the greater Sonai area had benefited immensely, especially regarding the well-being of their health.

He was a famous gynaecologist and social worker. During his tenure, DRSK had expanded its activities towards education, cultivation, employment generation, the welfare of domestic animals, and many more besides being in the well-being of the health, especially of mothers and children.
